Description In the study will be presented the results of new field prospections on the collapsed medieval mining areas, concentrators and smelting works in Central Czech Highlands. On some of that areas shell be thanks to the special anaerobic conditions the remainings of wooden equipments preserved, which allowed a precisse dendrochronological dating. Acquired data convenes good with the historical context of the polymetalic ore mining in the heart of Přemyslids territory. In the study will be focused the methodics of sampling and interpretation of its results.
