| Description | Article takes phenomenon of oral history to the wider context of humanities in the second part of 20th century. Focus is given on the ways, by which was oral history seen and interpreted in the circumstances of Czech and Slovak ethnology and folkloristics. Article also mentions risk of different interpretations of terms connected with this method. Mutual understanding is taken as one of phases to the wide scale of sources created by oral history research across the disciplines. |
