| Description | Highly resistant cysts represent a serious problem in treatment of Acanthamoeba infections. We present unique cytomorphological and ultrastructural features of cysts and encystment in A. lugdunensis, a T4 genotype and Group II species model, using a wide spectrum of light, confocal laser scanning, and electron microscopic methods. |
