| Description | Collatio tertia of Bonaventure's Collationes in Hexaemeron (1273) contains a treatise on the intellect in relation to the uncreated, incarnate and inspirited Word. It is intellectus verbi incarnati - per quod omnia reparantur. The name of the one who brings remedy, nomen reparatoris, is therefore Verbum Dei (The Word of God). Bonaventure in this context characterizes this reparator through the six qualities: praecelsus, sensatus, Deo acceptus, victoriosissimus, largifluus and iustus. All the strong and real presidencies are in relation to this characteristics: ab hoc manant fortia praesidia. In our contribution, we look at this perspective on the current debate on the presidential election in the Czech Republic. |
