| Description | This article explores the relation between the political and metaphysical thought in Wang Bi’s Commentary on the Laozi and argues for primacy of the former and derivative nature of the latter. The argument is based on analysis of inconsistencies in Wang Bi’s formulations of the wu—you dichotomy. |
