| Description | The article deals with the history of the Lords of Rosice. The first known member of the family was Bernard Hecht of Rosice, recorded in document from 1321. The most important member of the family was Petr Hecht of Rosice. He obtained the Heraltice estate in Southwest Moravia from the Margrave, and by purcahses he increased the family estates around Rosice and another estate in Kyjov region. After Peter's death, his sons, Vznata and Jošt, were in the service of Margrave. With Wenceslas of Rosice the family died out in the 15th century. |
