Description	The monograph by an authorial team from the IVDMR FSS MU describes the psychological aspects of motherhood in today’s women. Data resulting from a project aimed at the initial phases of parenthood are presented within the context of current psychological findings in the area of child care, parenting trends, ideals of motherhood or developing a relationship to the child. The publication offers a perspective on work-family balance, fathers’ involvement in child care, and parental teamwork in the upbringing.
