| Description | The constitution theory has been applied in an analysis of metaphysical vagueness which avoids commitment to vague identity. I argue that constitution theory can explain elegantly only instances of outer boundary vagueness. However, there are cases of mid-extension vagueness where the constitutional solution fails. |
