| Description | One of the key attributes of experimental research is a control experimental conditions. In order to isolate the influence of independent variables, a researcher tries to design a research in which he either controls or eliminates possible intervening variables. It thus aims at high internal validity of research. Sometimes, however, a high price is paid for this effort. The aim of the paper is to point out research designs, which in an effort to ensure maximum control not only reduces the external validity of the achieved results, but also disappears the very meaning and importance of research. Emphasis on form and strict adherence to the procedure empties the content. |
