Description The Vienna Cathedral of St. Stephen in the 18th century was one of the most important music institutions in Vienna. Thanks to source research, it was possible to discover new insights into the music ensembles in St. Stephen's Cathedral. The contribution also brings new information about the music during the liturgical year and special occasions. It also focuses on the purchase of musical instruments and compositions for the cathedral.
