| Description | The study deals with the event that took place on June 10, 1939 in Nachod, i.e. the murder of the Czech police officer Jaroslav Müller. The circumstances of his murder are viewed in the context of a similar death of the German police officer Wilhelm Kniest, which happened two days earlier in Kladno. In addition to the reconstruction of the entire Náchod event, the text demonstrates, based on the collection of the Protectorate Press, that the population was informed in a different way about both murders. |
