| Description | The paper is focused on the Italian comital family of Collalto, which originally came from the Veneto, but since the 17. century, one its branch had lived also in Moravia. Based on both written and iconographic sources, the author analyses three legends about the origin of the Collalto, whose core originated in the Late Middle Ages, and points out their importance for the family's identity as well as representation. |
