| Description | The study presents a range of nominalizations reflecting the decrease in “sentence / verbality” and the increase in “objectivity / nominality”. On this scale, there are three types of nominalizations distinguished according to the size of the structure embedded in the D-context: (a) CP-nominalization, (b) stem-nominalization, and (c) root nominalization. In (b) and (b), event nominalizations and result nominalizations are derived. |
