Description Personnel agenda in parish churches in Brno, Jihlava, Znojmo and Olomouc in the 16th century was in charge of the city council. The cantors, the organists and the city trumpeters, the main personalities of the city's musical culture, were paid from the city's money and partly from church money. Thanks to the preserved sources in the Moravian archives, we can often find out in great detail how much money these employees received and what their duties were. Only long-term and systematic heuristics bring a fundamental finding. Partial information fits in. It is these recent findings from the present research that were presented in this paper.
