| Description | The key aspect for assessing the quality of translation of legal text is the precise accuracy of its legal meaning. Due to this fact, its translation will be very concise. The Digests of Justinian (i.e. a part of the most important codification of law) are a compilation of works of various lawyers, thus, written in a quite different manner, not stylistically cohesive, and identical expressions sometimes do not have the same meaning. Another point is the interconnection of language expression with a particular legal order – as a result, the translations of legal texts can be somehow misleading. |
