| Description | This seminar provided an insight into the problematics of using corpus linguistics tools for teaching medical terminology. An actual version of the corpus of authentic clinical diagnoses in Sketch Engine was presented, while the attendants were given a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the background of collaboration between a linguist and a computational specialist. Specific linguistic problems were demonstrated with the focus on the potential ambiguity of an intuitive language approach and the significance of reflecting authentic data. |
