| Description | Serbian minority ranks to the historically youngest ethnic minorities on the territory of the Czech Republic; currently there are two adult generations. Until now it has stayed outside scientific interest, it is (still) aminority nearly without written memory.The source basis of this paper is empirical material collected in 2008–2019. Field reseach was based on the method of semi-structured interviews featuring, as the first topic, the circumstances of the arrival in Czechia. Sixty interviews with Serbian respondents were carried out and the obtained data represent the whole range of the up till now Serbian imigration to Czechia – three vawes of mostly individual, economic and political migration. |
