Description Czech Centre Brussels, together with BOZAR Cinema, organised a screening of Ecstasy by director Gustav Machatý. The newly restored version by Národní filmový archiv (NFA) premiered at the 2019 Venice Film Festival, where it won the award for best restoration. But time travel raises questions. How did the perception of female nudity on silver screen change from 1930s to the age of #MeToo? Would Hedy Lamarr had a different story today? These topics were lectured on and discussed after the screening of Ecstasy.
