Description This issue contains a total of nine contributions from authors from various European countries: Germany, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the Czech Republic. This indicates that the topic of non-traditional students in tertiary education is topical across Europe. The authors have approached the topic both quantitatively (making use of the statistical analysis of large datasets) and qualitatively.
