| Description | The reviewer shows the contribution of Michala Benešová's first Czech (not only) Schulzian monography to Czech Polish studies, whose book "In the Light of Kabbalah" excels both methodologically (by a suitable combination of literary and traditional Jewish hermeneutics), approach to texts by Alexander Wat, Bruno Schulz and Bolesław Leśmian like to "open text", and analytically (by asking questions of the text, illuminating meanings in new contexts). It is the questioning and lightening of meanings that leads the author to approach one of the possible senses. |
