Description The article examines the development of the construction of the church of St. Martin in Blansko (Moravia), which in the Middle Ages was on the property of the bishops of Olomouc. The oldest part of the church is the Romanesque south wall with a preserved sculpture of a standing man. The next two phases come from the early and high Gothic period. In the Baroque period, the entire building was significantly modified and received a high western tower.
