| Description | The Interest of the Czech museum environment in the form of the new museum definition can be seen as early as in the 1970´ in work of prof. Jan Jelínek. This interest in international debate is still actual in the Czech Republic and can be seen even today. Attitudes of the Czech museum professionals, museologists, scientists and students to the process of finding new museum definition were expressed in a questionnaire prepared by museologists from Masaryk University at the beginning of 2021 with cooperation of ICOM Czech Republic and Association of Museums and Galleries of Czech Republic. This presentation will show the results of the research and will present the keywords which should be included in the new museum definition. |
