Description The historical atlas provides a new perspective on the period of the end of antiquity. This epoch was perceived mainly as a period of decline and fall of ancient civilization and education. After 1900, however, thanks to art historians, a new perspective was born. According to them, this era, now called "late antiquity", should have been perceived positively, based on the new values it brought with it. The prevailing opinion is that fall or extinction is an integral part of the course of history, but it does not have to be a final and fatal part.
