Citation
Description The study Schenker in Böhmen is devoted to postwar reception of oeuvre of the work of the Austrian music theorist Heinrich Schenker in Czech (Czechoslovak) musicology. His oeuvre is represented chiefly by three parts of the work Neue musikalische Theorien und Phantasien (Harmonielehre, Kontrapunkt I, II and Der freie Satz), which form a fundamental conceptual apparatus. Above all, the latter publication (Der freie Satz, 1935) became the subject of interest of Czech musicologists in the 1990s.
