• Description: The set of 11 specialized maps represents a contribution to the process of identification, registration, documentation, classification and evaluation of historical industrial constructions from the monument care‘s point of view of, focusing on water management (WM) types of buildings. The aim is to present the possibilities and methods of mapping, identification and interpretation of WM-objects development in the hydrological unit of the Svitava river basin. Another goal is to test the suitability, complexity, correct setting and comprehensibility of the proposed set of evaluation criteria, which are part of the prepared methodology for the evaluation of VH-objects. The first six maps present the spatial identification, physical-geographical and historical-social context of the development of WM-objects in the period from the second half of the 18th century to the present. Another five maps represent a possible approach to the evaluation of historical WM-objects and functional units.
