| Description | The evening organised by Junge Deutsche Gesellschaft für Osteuropakunde consisted of the introduction of the film The Hop-Pickers (1964, dir.Ladislav Rychman), followed by the virtual screening. The lecture introduced participants to various aspects of the film - how it employs the musical form in order to criticise the regime and how it fits in the wider context of musical production in Eastern bloc.
