| Description | The chapter provides a brief overview of the development of museums and museum work in the region of South Moravia from their beginnings to the present.A common project of four regions in the middle of Europe: Lower Austria, Southern Moravia, Vysočina (Highlands) and Southern Bohemia. These four regions present themselves in publications documenting and presenting their cultural heritage presented in museum collections, galleries and other institutions, and thus offer insight into the context that has shaped their landscape and population with their traditions and unmistakable character. |
