| Description | This paper discusses past, present and possible threats humanity and the planet face and argues for long-term thinking and preventive politics to deal with, or better yet, prevent them. Because these threats are planetary in scale and require planetary actions, in its final part, the paper calls for planetary governance that unites humanity for mutual protection against threats we know and threats we cannot yet even fathom. |
