Description This paper examines the perception of the Russian writer Leonid Nikolaevich Andreyev in English-speaking countries. The main focus of this work is on the English translations of the writer's works and his literary reputation in England and America. The paper also names the literary scholars who researched Andreyev in these countries and mentions their main works. In addition, one of the aims of this article is to examine some of the writer's political views, as well as the popularization of Andreyev's publicist works abroad.
