| Description | This unconventional guide to Znojmo introduces readers not only to the artistic monuments of the city from the early Middle Ages to the present day but also to the stories that took place within its walls. The individual buildings are not perceived as separate "sights" but as organic parts of the whole. In our narrative, Znojmo thus becomes a natural ecosystem in which artistic monuments have been linked to the stories of the people who used them over the centuries, whether they were famous personalities or anonymous townspeople. The book aims to introduce kind readers to Znojmo slightly differently - to make the story of the town and its buildings entertaining, moving and educational. |
