| Description | The workshop was dedicated to the anniversary of the Asia Minor Disaster (1922). Two lectures in Czech language were focused on the general introduction of the historical (K. Tsivos) and literary (N. Votavová) context, the causes and consequences of the events of September 1922 and their reflection in the work of the so-called School of Asia Minor. Three papers in English (E. Kyramargiou, D. Kargiotis, P. Marazopoulos) reflected on the question of collective memory and the role of literature, the refugee crisis after September 1922 and its image in the Greek contemporary press. |
