| Description | Hagia Sophia is one of the most captivating creations of the pre-modern era. The temple has been much talked about recently due to the much criticised transformation of the museum into a mosque. This event, for which President Recep Tayyip Erdogan bears direct responsibility, is undoubtedly unfortunate. However, it has at least reminded the world of the importance of Hagia Sophia to the culture of mankind. |
