| Description | The aim of our post is to try to prove the magic of Dyk's novella about the Pied Piper. Thanks to the monographs of several French authors, we will try to approach the principles of symbolist drama, which can be found both in Dyk's novel and in Burian's dramatization. Romantic and above all symbolist elements are evident in both mentioned authors, but they do not classify them directly in these directions; they only demonstrate their influence and their mutual interweaving, the detailed analysis of which is dealt with in studies on the synoptic-pulsation model. |
