Description The Akkadian king Naram-Sin is frequently mentioned in later literary sources of ancient Mesopotamia. He is mostly portrayed as a bad ruler who does not respect the will of gods. This attitude towards Naram-Sin was probably influenced by the fact that he was the very first Mesopotamian king who was oficially deified during his lifetime.
