Citation
Description The topic of the article is the comparison of selected aspects of contemporary Czech and Polish political language concerning naming. The analysed units come from social networks - Facebook and Twitter - from posts of selected politicians published between January 2019 and December 2020. The material was divided into five groups relating to: nicknames of politicians and public figures, names denoting political affiliation, names related to the European Union, the media and the opposition 'us' and 'them'. The aim of the comparative analysis of the word-formation patterns used by the two languages is to indicate the similarities and differences between them.
