| Description | In antiquity, the horse was an animal that had many functions in the cosmological ideas of the people of that time. One of the main functions was the transfer or escort of the dead to the other world, to the land of the dead. In both Bronze Age Crete and Archaic Etruria, it was blue horses that carried out this transmission. |
