Citation
Description The article deals with the equivalents of the verb to cough, which we encounter in the dialects of the Czech language. These verbs are - just like the Slavic expression kašel - phonetic, imitating the sound of coughing with their phonetic composition. Some of them are tightly linked to a certain dialect area of the Czech language, and for some users of the Czech language they may be incomprehensible in themselves. Incomprehensibility may also be caused by the fact that these verbs appear in our territory in other meanings. The contribution will also include knowledge about nouns derived from these verbs (designation of coughing persons or types of cough).
