Description Between 2020 and 2022, a rescue archaeological research was carried out on Charles Square in Třebíč, triggered by the reconstruction of this area. During the research, almost two dozen pyro technological device remains of various constructions, functions and ages were discovered. The largest group probably consists of bakery ovens, but a drying room or forge was also found. They are dated to a wide time span of the 12th to 15th centuries. The paper tries to present the pyro technological facilities found from the perspective of the overall construction, housing context and natural science. The aim is to evaluate procedures and methods leading to interpretation of their original purpose.
