| Description | A reprise of the exhibition Jaroslav Šmídek: Furniture and Interior Design, which took place 3 May - 4 June 2023 on the technical floor of Villa Tugendhat. The exhibition was prepared to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Jaroslav Šmídek (1923-2005), a designer at the Folk Art Production Centre (1951-1955) and a designer at the Development of the Furniture Industry in Brno (1955-1966), who significantly influenced the composition of the products of the furniture industry in Czechoslovakia with his designs for sectoral cabinet and kitchen furniture and upholstered seating. |
