| Description | The lecture aim on the current trends in museum presentation within the territory of Central Europe, specifically focused on the development in the Czech Republic. It will examine individual examples from practice, especially approaches that overcome the traditional view of a museum installation in the terms of "showing" sets of authentic three-dimensional items situated in the setting of a museum building. Those mainly involve the usage of the phenomenon of virtual and augmented reality, interactivity and traveling exhibitions. The contribution will simultaneously evaluate the positives and negatives of mentioned activities and it will try to offer possibilities for their further use in the environment of (not only)museum institutions. |
