Valery Bryusov repeatedly raised the topic of the development of human culture. While working on the anthology «Literature of Armenia», Bryusov became interested in the history of the development of human thought and began work on the articles «Teachers of Teach-ers», which were devoted to studying the oldest cultures of mankind. Bryusov also used the articles to give lectures at the university, where Bryusov was invited as a lecturer.
