| Description | The fourth edition of the book U Janáčků, which was first published in 1959 and then twice more in 1962 and 1998. The new edition is based on the typescript stored in the Leoš Janáček Archive, i.e. the original text as written by Marie Trkanová according to Marie Stejskálova's narrative, without modifications and cuts made before the first edition. The book contains numerous editorial notes, partly carried over from previous editions, illustrations of scenes from the life of Janáček's family by the artist Vendula Chalánková, a number of photographs from the Leoš Janáček Archive and short medallions in the text of the mentioned personalities. |
