Description The site of Němčice is known primarily for its metal artefacts from the La Tene period and its key role as an emporio – central site. Systematic research in the last few years has brought a huge amount of new data, including a large set of daub fragments, which in the past were parts of constructions like houses or production features. In the following article, we present the results of the first phase of the analysis from the very rich feature No. 500. It did not deliver too many ceramic or metal artefacts, but on the contrary, there is a large number of daub fragments. This material presents a very high representation of construction materials which includes wattle negatives, pale negatives and carved elements.
