Description We report five examples of historical usage of lepidolite from Rožná pegmatite for decorative art objects. The largest of them are two corbels (one of them approx. 75 kg) now stored at Pernštejn Castle, probably originating from a hearth in the Dolní Rožínka chateau. Two lepidolite holy water fonts can be found in the Kostel sv. Havla in Rožná, one of them dated to the year 1863 based on the inscription. Moreover, the collection of the Moravian Museum in Brno contains a lepidolite pedestal (probably for a bust) with an approximate weight of 43 kg. Despite their reported historical production, lepidolite art objects are rather scarce in museum collections. We suggest that lepidolite material is usually not recognized and hence not reported.
