| Description | The article deals with the issue of small museums. This type of museum, which is widespread in the Czech Republic, has become an object of interest for experts in recent years. However, there is still no suitable all-encompassing definition of small museums. The article uses the examples of two museum institutions, the Kořenec Museum and the Josef Jambor Gallery, to illustrate the different and common features of this type of museum. The article is the result of research carried out in the framework of the project Museology, Museum Studies and Museography II: The Phenomenon of «Small» Museums in the spring of 2024. |
