Description | We approach the inquisitor’s voice behind the notary’s record is through linguistic features. We are using the register of Bologna, where several notaries as well as several inquisitors interfere, and we are using Machine Learning (Naive Bayes) to detect linguistic features (dictionary, word order, etc.) which will successfully attribute documents to specific inquisitors, thereby confirming their signal, i.e. their specific linguistic traces left in the notarial record. |
