| Description | This year marks the 20th anniversary of the death of Czesław Miłosz, a poet, prose writer, essayist, literary historian, and translator. The Senate of the Republic of Poland has elected him as the Patron of the Year 2024. On this occasion, it is worth recalling Czesław Miłosz’s visits to our country, as well as his most important Czech translators, hoping that there will also be other interesting initiatives in the Czech Republic and Slovakia connected with one of the most famous Polish writers of the 20th century this year. |
