| Description | A series of three "double lectures" (4x 45 minutes) realized in ZS 2023/2024 for U3V of Palacký University in Olomouc. The aim of the lectures is to acquaint the audience with important personalities of Czech music across the centuries, including broader philosophical, cultural, social and art-historical contexts. General explanations are interwoven with detailed interpretations of specific musical works, including numerous piano examples. The lectures are complemented by examples of works by Czech artists in the field of art and literature. Individual lectures have the following titles and thematic focus: 1. Where is my homeland, where is my home?; 2. The awakeners and revivalists, dancing and dreaming...; 3. Old times - new era! |
