Description The contribution analyses the religious dimension of the large confiscations of property and fiefdoms belonging to the rebels defeated in the Battle of the White Mountain. White Mountain. In the imperial political-religious design, the confiscations were to favour the consolidation of Catholicism as the only legitimate religion and accelerate the change of the system of state power in the Bohemian Lands, centralising its institutions and firmly integrating the Catholic confession.
