| Description | The lecture will be opened with a reflection on the nature of the national musical tradition. Subsequently, it will show the role of Czech musicians and Czech music in various periods of European musical history. It will conclude with a reflection on specifically Czech elements and features in art in generaly, and specifically in music. The lecture will be enriched with live examples of musical works both well-known and less known. |
